The first announcement of the line up for Fuji Rock Festival ’24 is finally here!

Inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, 3 time nominee and one time Grammy Award winners, pioneers of techno-pop: KRAFTWERK, will be performing at Fuji Rock for the first time!

Two up-and-coming artists included in this announcement are: GIRL IN RED, featuring Marie Ulven from Norway, who’s debut album in 2021 was produced by Billie Eilish’s brother and Japan tour in January of 2023 sold out across the country. And 3 time nominees at the 65th Grammy Awards, the highly acclaimed 5 part band from Baltimore Maryland, TURNSTILE.

Veterans: RIDE, who’s tour of Japan recreating their well-known albums sold out in minutes and who have announced the release of a new album, “Interplay”; and the genius Jazz drummer YUSSEF DAYES who is central to the UK Jazz movement will be appearing at the festival.

FLOATING POINTS、who’s special show at the Hallywood Bowl for his album, “Promises” which was nominated for the Mercury Prize was so highly acclaimed; and FONTAINES D.C., chosen by many media outlets for best record of the year and winners of Best International Group at the Brit Awards who unfortunately had to cancel their performance at Fuji Rock in 2022 and went on to shine in their first shows in Japan will be making their Naeba debut this summer.

The many fabulous artists included in this announcement are: Australian singer songwriter, ANGIE McMAHON; the fantastic guitar player, CHRISTONE “KINGFISH” INGRAM who has been called the representative of modern blues; Denmark’s singer songwriter and producer who’s strong album “Sensational” boasts high acclaim, ERIKA DE CASIER; much-talked-about EYEDRESS which features many amazing artists such as N.E.R.D’s Chad Hugo; HIROKO YAMAMURA who’s been chosen by XLR8R magazine as one of the Top Ten DJ’s of Chicago; THE LAST DINNER PARTY who opened for the Rolling Stones even prior to debuting and released their long-awaited first album in February 2024; NO PARTY FOR CAO DONG who7ve been called the best of Taiwan’s indie bands; NOTD the Swedish producers who’s remixes of big name artists such as Ed Sheeran and Rihanna led to stardom among teens leading to a completely sold out tour of Japan last year; RUFUS WAINWRIGHT who was called “the greatest songwriter on Earth” by Elton John and praised as having “true creativity” by the New York Times; and the exotic funk disco band from Holland, YIN YIN!
