FUJI ROCK COLLECTION 2024

N.HOOLYWOOD TO BE FUJI ROCK COLLECTION ’24 DESIGNER!

The collaboration between N.HOOLYWOOD and Fuji Rock Festival goes back beyond 2018 when headliner Kendrick Lamar wore N.HOOLYWOOD, back to the first time the pair collaborated for Fuji Rock Collection in 2007.

Aluminum badges, caps, and t-shirts were created not just as fun items for both musicians and the audience at the festival but as communication tools.
The t-shirts were designed with space for autographs in creating an wardrobe item that would become an item reminding the wearer of an unforgettable time at the festival.

This year, N.HOOLYWOOD is back for a new collaboration with the festival. N.HOOLYWOOD designer, Daisuke Obana spoke with us that “the t-shirt I designed 17 years ago is now basically a vintage item.” The shirt is being reissued for this year.

Junya Handa, who was in charge of video and graphic design for N.HOOLYWOOD in 2007 will be on board to design a new item this year. Long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts featuring the updated artwork for 2024 will be available.

These items designed by N.HOOLYWOOD that have evolved through the unraveling of history and culture will be available beginning on May 24th.

About Fuji Rock Collection

Fuji Rock Collection project began in in 2005 to express the brand message of the festival, “coming together, helping and loving each other all through music and nature”, with fashion.

The project has developed over the years with various designers and creators with that idea.

“Let’s express something together.”

The Fuji Rock Collection started with that simple idea and continues with a new designer this year.

Another aim of the Fuji Rock Collection

Portions of the profits from the Fuji Rock Collection are donated to Single Homeless Project via the foundation “Strummerville”, which was created by the late Joe Strummer of the legendary punk band, The Clash, and a friend of the festival.

Strummerville also supports the gateway to stardom, Rookie A Go-Go stage at the festival.

We at the festival, which was bourne by music lovers, hope this project helps guide talented artists.
