NEW POWER GEAR Field
AVALON
This area is working to reduce CO2 emissions by powering the entire field with soft energy sources such as biodiesel and solar power.
The event centers around "Gypsy Avalon," an alternative stage powered by new energy, and also features an "NGO VILLAGE" where NGOs set up booths to promote themselves, an organic village selling eco-friendly goods, a flea market with handmade crafts and ethnic musical instruments by the audience, and workshops.
The "Atomic Cafe Festival" will also be held in this area.
NGO VILLAGE
"NGO VILLAGE," located in NEW POWER GEAR Field / AVALON, is a space for relatively small NGOs to showcase their activities. Organizations that clearly communicate "social issues" such as the global environment, forest conservation, and peace to visitors, and provide them with an opportunity to take action, will participate and appeal to the public.
Social issues that usually seem distant might feel more relatable when presented in a natural setting with easy-to-understand appeals.
