Reducing Climate Changing CO2 Emissions

With climate change causing abnormal weather across the globe, each one of us must do our part to reduce the amount of CO2 emissions rather than relying on governments and corporations. By using alternate energy sources at the festival, we are reducing the amount of CO2 created by the festival.

  • The festival is working to reduce CO2 emissions in part by using recycled tempura oil as bio-diesel to power.
  • Fuji Rock, in cooperation with the students from the TCU Lab at Tokyo City University, measure the impact the festival has on the environment. The previous year’s efforts can be seen at the university’s booth at the NGO village.
