Experience an early FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL in Naeba this summer! Board Walk Camp participants wanted!
Within FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL grounds, there is a wooden Board Walk that stretches for approximately 2 kilometers through the forest.
Board Walk Camp is a camping event where participants can enjoy nature while repairing and maintaining this wooden boardwalk, which has been affected by winter snow, rain, and wind, in preparation for FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL. With FUJI ROCK just around the corner, we will be holding a final maintenance session on July 4th (Saturday)!
No specialized knowledge or experience is necessary. You can enjoy a delicious lunch in Naeba, make new FUJI ROCK friends, walk along back roads that are inaccessible during the FESTIVAL, and even have the area where the Green Stage stands all to yourself. Why not get a head start on experiencing FUJI ROCK amidst the nature of Naeba and with these special experiences? We look forward to your participation!
Naeba Board Walk
Every year, we work with over 300 volunteers and local residents of Naeba to maintain Board Walk that allow people to walk through the forest.
This "organic" wooden walkway, built little by little using natural wood and human hands without the use of heavy machinery, is one of the few such projects in Japan, which began construction in 2002.
We continue to conduct "Board Walk Camps," activities that contribute to the maintenance and conservation of forests.
