Disaster Relief Project “Benefit for Nippon” ~Fuji Rock’s Efforts~
The 『Benefit for NIPPON』 project was created to support areas effected by disaster.
Many festival goers have helped us support those effected since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
We will be again be gathering donations for both those effected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and to support Niigata Prefecture’s efforts to stop the spread of Covid-19 this year for “Benefit for Nippon” at the festival.
We thank you all for your continued support.
『Benefit for NIPPON』〜This Year’s Efforts at Fuji Rock〜
The money gathered through donation boxes around the festival will be matched by the festival and donated to to the following organizations.
【Niigata Musubu Project ~Covid-19 Infection Measure Benefit Project~】 ▸
A portion of the donations gathered will be sent to the “Niigata Musubu Project” which supports medical personnel fighting the spread of Covid-19 in Niigata prefecture where Fuji Rock is held.
Support for those effected by the Great East Japan Earthquake
A portion of the donations gathered at the festival will be sent to the Fukushima Prefecture Disaster Response Headquarters which continues to work against the long term effects of the disaster at the Fukushima Nuclear Powerplant.
*Details regarding the amounts donated will be announced on the official website after the festival.
The project also includes support actions by Fuji Rock official supporters, organizations, teams and corporations.
