For two weeks, TOKYO MIDTOWN YAESU was bathed in the colors of FUJI ROCK.

From 6/12(Friday) for 15 days, TOKYO MIDTOWN YAESU was completely transformed into FUJI ROCK wonderland, featuring a photo gallery, a limited-time pop-up official shop, and more.

In the 1st-floor atrium, a large pole made of FUJI ROCK photographs was on display, showcasing numerous iconic scenes from FUJI ROCK. Many visitors stopped to admire the historical exhibits, including posters from previous years and videos chronicling the festival's history from its inaugural year to its move to Naeba.

At the 2nd floor YAESU PUBLIC, decorations based on this year's FUJI ROCK main visual and the popular stone character "Gon-chan" from the venue made an appearance. The entire floor was decorated in FUJI ROCK style, and with songs by this year's performing ARTISTS playing as background music, many visitors enjoyed the festival-like atmosphere.

At FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL's Official Shop, GAN-BAN , which offered Tickets and Official SHOP while allowing visitors to enjoy conversations with staff, a special raffle was held with luxurious prizes including a Lodging at Naeba Prince Hotel . The event was bustling with many visitors.

Special Free Live — 9 acts all gathered

A special stage reminiscent of the atmosphere of Naeba appeared in the 1st floor Galleria facing Tokyo Station , and a free live concert was held for three days from 6/19(Fri) to 21(Sun), featuring a total of 9 Artists associated with FUJI ROCK .

6/19(Fri) - The opening act was Kimyo Reitaro. He warmed up the floor with covers of classic hits such as "Les Champs-Élysées" and "Akai Sweet Pea." As the live performance started at 6:30 PM, many office workers could be seen listening to Kimyo's singing while holding a can of "iichiko", which was being sold at the venue.
Next up was Sokabe Keiichi (Sunny Day Service), who performed mellow numbers appropriate for the time of year, such as "Rokugatsu no Uta" and "Ajisai", singing as if gently speaking to the audience. For the encore, "Seishun Kyousoukyoku", the entire audience sang along in unison with Sokabe's call of "More, more!" The show came to a close amid thunderous applause.

On 6/20(Sun) the second day kicked off with Inoue Sonoko. Starting with her first song, "Tanoshii Kujibiki", the melodic sound of her acoustic guitar and her beautiful low voice resonated throughout the metropolis. The rhythmic cutting of "Hito Bakari Dewa Naika" combined with the weather to create a lighthearted feeling, like a child in rain boots skipping down a rainy street. Next up was Kimishima Ohzora (solo), who, amidst the rainy weather reminiscent of FUJI ROCK, delivered a live performance that strongly reflected his unique worldview, including the beautiful high notes of "Q" that seemed to squeeze out surging emotions, and the ballad "Kohaku no Enkei" with its expansive melody and dramatic development. In contrast to the intensity of GEZAN, Mahi to the People delivered a gentle and enveloping performance. The simple arrangement allowed the message embedded in the song to come across all the more directly. During "Menou", a song with poignant and fantastical lyrics, some fans were seen with tears in their eyes. The final act of the day was Mukai Hideki (acoustic & electric). The audience was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Mukai's voice as he continued to shout nonstop for 30 minutes. The energy soared with NUMBER GIRL's signature song "Toumei Shoujo" and ZAZEN BOYS's live staples "Eien Shoujo" and "The Days Of Nekomachi." For the encore, he performed a cover of YUI's "CHE.R.RY", bringing the audience's excitement to a peak before the show ended.

6/21(Sun) – The third day, enjoyed in pleasant weather, kicked off with Zainichi Funk mini. With a call and response from Hamano Kenta (Vo), they began with "Nen ni Mottemasu." The audience raised their arms and responded with applause. The wordplay between the performers and the audience that unfolded during "Kyoto" made their performance even more memorable. TENDOUJI appeared to the tune of their opening music, "WE ARE THE CHAMP ~THE NAME OF THE GAME~". Asano (Vo) called out, "Shall we sing together as a warm-up for FUJI ROCK?", and the sight of the audience swaying from side to side and enjoying themselves freely was impressive. From the fourth song, "Seventeen", special guest Inaba Koudai (Helsinki Lambda Club) performed on saxophone, creating a special atmosphere reminiscent of FUJI ROCK, and the venue erupted in excitement. And so, the free live performance was finally reaching its climax. The last to appear was Ohara Ayato (Tempalay/FCO.). Coincidentally, the Japanese national soccer team had just won their match against Tunisia, so he began his set with "Hikkoshi", a song dedicated to Ayase Ueda, and then performed "Amari ni Chikai" as a tribute to his close friends TENDOUJI. He captivated the audience from start to finish with his pleasant and sophisticated songs.

Closing DJ event

On 6/26(Friday), the final day of FUJI ROCK WEEK, a closing DJ event by SUGIURUMN was held at the 2nd floor YAESU PUBLIC. This event greatly enlivened the finale of the 15-day event and built anticipation for the main event in Naeba.
