8 NEW ARTISTS ADDED TO LINEUP!

AFRICAN HEAD CHARGE, NAOTARO MORIYAMA, YU SEKI, and more! 8 new artists confirmed to perform at this year’s Fuji Rock!

Appearing at Fuji Rock on numerous occasions, and in recent years has also been performing energetically overseas, ICHIKO AOBA,who has attracted attention both in Japan and overseas, ECCA VANDAL, a Sri Lankan-Australian singer-songwriter and rapper born in South Africa who has performed with numerous big-name artists across genres, and KIASMOS, a unit made up of composer Ólafur Arnalds and trackmaker Janus Rasmussen, who captivated audiences at last year’s Asagiri Jam and their first performance in Japan, have been newly confirmed to perform on Friday July 25th!

Newly added to the lineup for Saturday, July 26th are: the legendary unit AFRICAN HEAD CHARGE, formed around Adrian Sherwood and Bonjo Iyabingi Noah, will make their first appearance since 2011! Also confirmed are London-based DJ JYOTY, who has been attracting attention from Boiler Room and Rinse FM and is now active at clubs and festivals around the world, and the electro unit PASOCOM MUSIC CLUB , who make full use of analog synthesizers and sound modules and have also been attracting attention for their remixes and guest appearances!

On Sunday July 27th, Seiki Yu, drummer of King Gnu, and Yohji Igarashi, who has also attracted attention for his remixes of New School Leaders, will perform as SEIKI YU & Yohji Igarashi. Since their major label debut in 2002, NAOTARO MORIYAMA , who has gained support from a wide range of generations with his one-of-a-kind voice and numerous famous songs, will make his first appearance at Fuji Rock!
