Thom Yorke finally appears at FUJI ROCK!
On the final day of the three-day festival, a band that everyone had been waiting for finally made their FUJI ROCK appearance. Atoms for Peace, the super band featuring Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and Free (of the Red Hot Chili Peppers), took to the stage. The audience gathered on the Green Stage to witness this historic moment held their breath, and they delivered an incredible performance that left them unable to leave the stage for even a moment.

FUJI ROCK in 2010 was also a year in which many of these famous bands performed with their own projects. One such performer was Them Crooked Vultures, a new band formed by Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), and Joshua Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), who performed on Friday. Furthermore, headliner Muse, who had been on a festival tour headlining festivals around the world that summer, captivated the audience with their overwhelming musical talent and presence at FUJI ROCK. Also, "All Night Fuji," which was unfortunately canceled last year due to heavy rain, was successfully held.

Saturday saw a dramatic change in tone, with a prominent appearance by rock stars of the past. John Fogerty was visiting Japan for the first time in 38 years. Many were moved to tears by his performance of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," a smash hit released in 1971 while with CCR.
Then, with Roxy Music as the final act, the power of these seasoned ARTISTS was on full display. In contrast, the White Stage that day was filled with young ARTISTS. One Day as a Lion, a new project by Zack de la Rocha (Rage Against the Machine), performed at FUJI ROCK as their world premiere live show! MGMT, who had just released their second album, also performed as headliners, and the White Stage was so well-received that admission was restricted.

On Sunday, following the aforementioned Atoms for Peace, Massive Attack returned to FUJI ROCK for the first time in seven years as the grand headliner. The closing act was a spectacular performance by the legendary party band Scissor Sisters. Despite the heavy rain, the Green Stage was transformed into a dance floor, bringing the night to a spectacular close.

FUJI ROCK continues to evolve, and a new area has been added: the PYRAMID GARDEN . This is a Campsite exclusively for tour buses. Produced by candle ARTISTS Candle JUNE, the relaxing space also features a new stage, where performances were held in a relaxed atmosphere.
