The biggest highlight of FUJI ROCK in 2012 was the sunny weather that was enjoyed throughout the festival, including the Pre-Party. While the image of FUJI ROCK being rainy at some point has become commonplace in recent years, Fuji Rock was blessed with the best weather ever, and it was impressive to see the bright, beautiful smiles of all the attendees.

The year started off with a feeling that something special was on the way.
The Stone Roses made headlines last year with the news of their reunion, and Radiohead was announced shortly after the New Year, with the unusually early announcement of performers.
That hunch led to an exquisite Lineup.
The lineup included the miraculously reunited Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher, who had the entire audience singing along, and Radiohead, a band that both fans and staff had been hoping for. In celebration of the London Olympics, a stellar lineup also featured renowned British ARTISTS like Beady Eye, The Specials, and Elvis Costello, with notable ARTISTS like Jack White, James Blake, and Ed Sheeran sprinkled throughout. And, as if to echo that, Japanese acts like Yosui Inoue, Denki Groove, and Sakanaction added a vibrant Lineup to the lineup.

The audience responded to the attractive Lineup, with tickets for July 28th (Sat) and 29th (Sun) sold out, making it the highest attendance ever.
Also, Early Bird Discount Tickets have been around for 10 years, and this year they were sold at special prices during the advance sale period.

FUJI ROCK aims to ensure the coexistence of music and nature, and is committed to various environmental measures.
The " FUJI ROCK Forest" project was established in 2011 in collaboration with Niigata Pref., Yuzawa-machi , and the people of Naeba to protect the forest environment surrounding the venue. This year, many spectators, including those participating in the Boardwalk Camp, have joined in as supporters, and the circle of support is expanding.
As in the previous year, the festival also provided a stage and other venues for the anti-nuclear, anti-nuclear event "The Atomic Cafe," providing an opportunity to consider switching to natural energy.
This year, we were blessed with the natural blessing of clear skies, and it was also a year in which we felt even more strongly the importance of environmental conservation.

As part of the Great East Japan Earthquake reconstruction support project "Benefit for NIPPON," we again conducted a donation drive to support the victims, just as we did last year.
During the event, donation boxes were set up inside and outside the venue, and many visitors made generous donations.
There was also a charity auction of chairs signed by ARTISTS who performed on the Green Stage.
The FUJI ROCK Festival festival has sent the following amount, including donations received from everyone and the total amount won in the charity auction.
